About this activity
Create your own engraved glass at Tokyo Small Museum of Books About Glass in Sumida. Choose a handmade glass item, sketch a design and use a pen-shaped rotary tool to carve lines, illustrations or words into its surface. Practise with the tool before engraving your final piece, with advice and sample designs available. Take your finished creation home on the same day, packed for you after the workshop.

Child policy: - Children must be aged 5 years and above to participate in this activity. - Children aged 5-13 years must be accompanied by a paying adult. Good to know: - Please note that if you are late and your arrival delays the start of the session, you will be charged an extension fee if the production time exceeds the allotted time. - The maximum workshop time for advance reservations is 90 minutes. Extensions may be possible on the day if there are vacancies (fee: 550 yen/30 minutes per person). - Glass brought from outside the workshop cannot be used for the experience. - Check the official website for the daily opening hours and closure dates prior to your visit.
