For the individual ascent and descent at Mount Rigi, as well as the boat ride back to Lucerne, tickets and a written itinerary are provided. - From 16 to 27 November 2026, and 1 to 31 March 2027, the ascent and descent at Mount Rigi will be by cogwheel train due to aerial cable car maintenance: - You are advised to wear solid shoes for up to 15 minutes of moderate downhill walking. Bring sun or rain protection.
